Experienced Outside Sales Rep
Compex is hiring an experienced outside sales professional to represent our company in the competitive field of IT management for businesses. We are a fast growing company and partner with big industry names to provide quality solutions for our clients. You will be selling our services to medical offices and other professional businesses. We will take care of the technical aspects, if you bring a sincere, positive disposition, warm smile and perseverance! Personality and confidence are key components in this position, so don’t let your lack of tech knowledge hold you back from applying. Our pre-sales technicians will assist you with bidding, quotes and implementation schedules; and in time, you will learn everything you need to know to hold up your end of a technical sales conversation. A large part of this position will be conducted in the field, cold calling and warming leads. We have a CRM that will need to be updated daily. You will be provided monthly campaign materials and all the coaching and physical tools needed for success. While our team is here to support you, ultimately you will be responsible for conducting the entire sales process from lead generation to closing the sale. This business heavily relies on trust and building a relationship, because of this, we are looking for long term placement for this position. You will also be responsible for the community relations aspect- such as networking groups, referral collection and potentially speaking engagements. This is a fun job, fun company and great opportunity to meet other professionals. The position is base plus commission. Documentation is light to medium. Overnight travel 2x per year, paid by company and usually in-state. Daily territory will be along the I-5 corridor from Portland to Eugene, but mostly in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Dress is Business Casual to Business Professional. You will be responsible for reporting to management and home office for daily phone calls, team meetings and potentially client meetings. But otherwise, you will be out of the office promoting Compex. We are open to the right individual setting a schedule that meets family commitments, as long as goals are met and everyone is happy!
